The Sudarshan Setu in Dwarka, Gujarat, constructed at a cost of ₹900 crore and inaugurated in February, is already showing severe signs of wear. Photos and videos circulating on social media reveal that the bridge is riddled with potholes and rusting railings after recent heavy rains.

Over the last five days, continuous rainfall has caused significant damage to the bridge, resulting in multiple potholes and rusting railings. Authorities have started repair work to address these issues.

The Sudarshan Setu spans 2.32 kilometers and includes a 900-meter central double-span cable-stayed section connecting Okha with Beyt Dwarka island. The bridge was constructed by S P Singla Construction Pvt Ltd.
