In a successful operation, security forces thwarted an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists.

This incident follows another encounter last week in Baramulla's Sopore area, where two terrorists were killed, and a police officer was injured. The top police officer confirmed that the identities of the terrorists in the Sopore encounter are yet to be established.
