Kashmir Suspends Primary Classes Amid Heatwave on July 29 and 30

Due to the ongoing heatwave in Kashmir, the divisional administration has announced the suspension of classes for primary-level students in both government and private schools on July 29 and 30.

In an official statement, Divisional Commissioner V.K. Bidhuri confirmed that while students will stay home, teaching and non-teaching staff are required to attend their duties as usual. 

The decision was made in response to the intense heat affecting the valley, prioritizing the well-being of young students. However, the administration emphasized the importance of staff presence to ensure continuity in school operations and preparations.
